Pedro Motivates Al-Ahly Players After Victory Over Al-Ittihad: We Haven't Achieved Anything Yet
Portuguese Rui Pedro, the sporting director of Al-Ahli Saudi Club, made sure to meet with the team players in the locker room after the victory over Al-Ittihad Saudi in the Jeddah Derby.
Al-Ahli achieved an important victory over Al-Ittihad with a score of 3-1 in the match held on Friday evening at the Inma Stadium, as part of the 25th round of the Saudi Professional League.
According to Al-Riyadiyah newspaper, Rui Pedro urged Al-Ahli players to continue their victories in the upcoming matches to remain in contention for the league title.
Pedro said during his conversation with the players: "We are still competing and haven't achieved anything yet. If we want to celebrate our efforts, we must fight in the upcoming matches with the same strength, and we should not pay attention to anything outside the field."
He added, "Championships are decided on the field. We have done a good job so far, but it is not the goal we and our fans want. Everyone wants to win championships, so we need to forget today's match and focus on the upcoming encounters because they will be tougher and more important."
