Dybala Undergoes Knee Surgery
Italian sources, including "Sky Sport Italia," reported that AS Roma star Paulo Dybala underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee after suffering from a persistent injury that kept him out of recent matches.
This action comes after the Argentine striker missed four of the last five official matches since the end of January due to inflammation in the lateral capsule of the left knee. He returned to the team list against Juventus but spent the entire match on the bench, before sustaining a new injury during training on Thursday.
According to reports, Dybala arrived on Friday morning at Villa Stuart in the Italian capital, and in agreement with the club's management, he decided to undergo surgery performed by Professor Pier Paolo Mariani. This step aims to accurately assess his condition and ensure the restoration of his physical readiness.
Dybala's contract with Roma expires at the end of the current season. So far, he has scored three goals and provided four assists in 22 matches across all competitions, according to Italian sources.
