Friday 06-03-2026
The right-back Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat, a player for Al-Qadsiah, revealed a significant financial demand in exchange for agreeing to extend his contract, amid Al-Hilal's interest in acquiring his services.

Abu Al-Shamat demanded 30 million riyals to extend his contract with Al-Qadisiyah for an additional two years, continuing his journey with the team until the summer of 2030.

The management of Al-Qadisiyah had rejected an offer from Al-Hilal during the last winter transfer window to acquire the remainder of the player's contract, as they wished to retain him as one of their key players.

The young defender's contract with Al-Qadisiyah currently extends until the summer of 2028, while the club's management is seeking to extend it early to ensure his continued presence with the team for a longer period.

According to what was reported by Al-Riyadiyah newspaper, the player has not yet agreed to the renewal offer presented by his club, stipulating that he receives the financial compensation he specified.

Abu Al-Shamat participated in 26 matches wearing the Al-Qadsia jersey during the current season, managing to score one goal and provide 7 assists, according to statistics from the Transfermarkt website.
