According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, direct communications have already begun between the club officials and the player's agents, along with members of his family, in preparation for reaching a final agreement in the near future, with other meetings expected soon.

The proposed negotiations include an improvement in the player's annual salary, in a move aimed at appreciating his pivotal role with the team, especially after the outstanding performances he delivered in past seasons, which made him one of the key elements of the starting lineup.

For his part, Liao shows a clear desire to continue with the "Rossoneri," as he has a strong connection with the club and the city of Milan. This gives the management a significant morale boost to finalize the agreement and close the file as soon as possible.
