The Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat, a player for Real Betis, spoke about the details of the injury that kept him off the field for weeks, confirming that it worsened after significant effort exerted in crucial matches.

Amrabat explained in statements to the club's official channel that he has entered the final stage of his treatment program, expressing his happiness at being close to returning to group training.

The player said, "I am very happy, I missed being here, training, and seeing everyone," emphasizing that he has not compromised his commitment to the team.

He added: "It's not good to question my commitment. My injury worsened after I exerted a lot of effort in the derby match and against Barcelona. Also, the Africa Cup of Nations was held in my country, and I couldn't abandon the national team."

The injury had prevented Amrabat from appearing with his Andalusian team and also kept him from participating with the Moroccan national team in the latest edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, before he began his recovery journey in preparation for returning to competition.
