Wednesday 04-03-2026
Inter Milan returned with a goalless draw against their host Como in the first leg of the Italian Cup semi-finals, in a match held at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium.

The match was evenly balanced for most of its duration, with both teams exchanging control over the course of play. Inter had a slight advantage in terms of possession, while the home team displayed strong defensive organization, successfully closing down spaces and limiting the threat of attacks.

Inter tried to reach the net through several attempts from outside the penalty area, along with some crosses, but the final touch was missing from their players, as Como's defense and goalkeeper excelled in dealing with the dangerous attempts.

On the other hand, Como relied on quick counterattacks and almost surprised the visitors on several occasions. However, the decisive touch was missing, and the match ended in a goalless draw, leaving the qualification ticket wide open before the return leg.

The return match is scheduled to take place at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium on April 22nd, where Inter aims to leverage the home advantage and crowd support to secure a spot in the final, while Como hopes to continue its surprises and snatch the qualification ticket from the heart of Milan.

It is noted that Lazio will face Atalanta on Wednesday evening in the second semifinal.
