Swedish Kalmar Includes Ashraf Dari from Al-Ahly on Loan
Tuesday 03-03-2026
The Swedish club Kalmar announced today that it has signed Moroccan defender Achraf Dari on loan from Al Ahly until the end of the current season, with an option to buy.

Al-Ahly had agreed to let Dari leave after his name was removed from the local and African roster last February to make room for his compatriot Youssef Belamri. Additionally, he was excluded from the plans of Danish coach Jess Thorup due to the recurring injuries he had suffered recently.

For his part, Zouhair Dari, the player's father, revealed in previous statements that his son has moved to Kalmar on loan until the end of the season, confirming the existence of a clause that grants the Swedish club the right to purchase his contract permanently.

According to press reports, Al Ahly will cover part of Ashraf Dari's salary during his loan period to Kalmar, as part of facilitating the completion of the deal.

Ashraf Dari joined Al Ahly in the summer of 2024, coming from the French club Brest, with a contract extending for four years.
