Zamalek coach Moatamed Gamal has urged the club's management to quickly finalize the contract extension for striker Nasser Mansi, whose contract expires at the end of the next season, following the impressive performances the player has delivered recently.

According to Al-Watan newspaper, Moatamed Gamal held a meeting with John Edward, the sports director of Zamalek, during which he emphasized the importance of securing Mansi's stay, especially after he became a key player in the lineup.

The newspaper indicated that Nasser Mansi insisted on staying with Zamalek during the last winter transfer window, despite the management's approval of his departure at the time, reflecting his desire to continue his journey with the white team's jersey.

John Edward is expected to hold a session with the player in the coming days to agree on the details of the new contract, given his remarkable recent performance and the possibility of his inclusion in the Egyptian national team roster during the upcoming international break, in preparation for future commitments.

Zamalek is preparing to face Al Ittihad Alexandria next Friday as part of the 21st round of the Egyptian Premier League.
