Vlahović Approaches Contract Renewal with Juventus
Tuesday 03-03-2026
Multiple press reports revealed that Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović held a meeting today with Juventus club officials, where both parties opened the door to the possibility of reaching an agreement to sign a new contract in the coming period.

Vlahović is tied to the Italian club's contract only until June 30th next year, which gives him the right to start negotiating with other clubs within Italy and abroad, in preparation for a free transfer starting in July, in case an agreement is not reached with Juventus management.

The player had previously rejected attempts to sell him during the last summer transfer period, insisting on his desire to continue with the Bianconeri, reflecting his commitment to staying with the team.

The decision on the Serbian striker's future was previously delayed due to a serious injury he suffered, before he recently began the recovery stage, coinciding with holding an important meeting with the club's management to discuss his contract renewal.

According to reports from 'Sky Sport Italia' and 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', the meeting was very positive, with both parties expressing their mutual desire to reach a new agreement.

The new contract is expected to include a significant reduction in the player's salary compared to his previous contract, which was estimated at around 12 million euros annually, yet this is considered progress in the negotiations between the two sides.

Vlahović is 26 years old and has scored six goals and provided two assists in 17 matches across various competitions this season.
