Vlahovic Nears Return to Juventus Participation
Monday 02-03-2026
Sky Sport Italia reported that Juventus striker, Dusan Vlahovic, will return to group training in the coming days after a long absence due to injury, in preparation for the possibility of his participation in the anticipated match against Pisa in the Italian league.

According to the report, Vlahovic may be called up for the match scheduled for March 7, although he is expected to start on the bench if he is fully fit.

The Serbian striker suffered a severe injury to the adductor muscle at the end of November, which required surgery and has kept him out of action since then.

His return represents significant support for coach Luciano Spalletti's attacking options, especially given Jonathan David's fluctuating form and Luis Openda's limited starting appearances following Vlahovic's injury.

Juventus currently occupies sixth place in the Italian league standings, following a 3-3 draw against Roma on Sunday, four points behind fourth-placed Roma.

Vlahovic is 26 years old and has participated in 17 matches across various competitions this season, scoring six goals and assisting two. His future with the club remains a topic of discussion, with his contract at Allianz Stadium nearing its end by the close of the current season.
