Sofyan Amrabat Resumes Training with Real Betis After 3-Month Absence
Monday 02-03-2026
The Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat is preparing to return to training with Real Betis after being sidelined for nearly three months due to injury.

Amrabat is expected to start his preparation program tomorrow, Tuesday, at the club's sports city. Initially, he will undergo individual training, possibly limited to physical sessions in the gym, before gradually integrating into group training, according to the plan set by the technical and medical staff.

Spanish press reports stated that the player's participation in one of the Round of 16 matches of the Europa League will remain contingent on the progress of his physical condition in the coming days. They noted that his return to competition could happen next week if the rehabilitation process goes according to the specified program.

Amrabat left Seville about three months ago to undergo examinations and treatment in Morocco in preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations finals, where he participated in three matches with the national team, before heading to the Netherlands for an arthroscopic surgery following an injury he sustained in late November 2025.

Betis fans are eagerly awaiting the return of their Moroccan player to strengthen the midfield during a critical phase of the season, amid strong competition both domestically and internationally.
