Emirati Glory Requests to Purchase Pedrinho from Wydad
Monday 02-03-2026
Wydad received an official correspondence from the Emirati club Al-Majd to activate the purchase clause for the Brazilian player Pedrinho, who joined their ranks during the last winter transfer window on loan until the end of the current season.

Press reports revealed that Wydad's management does not mind selling the player's contract permanently, but they are waiting for the financial offer that the Emirati club will present to finalize the deal officially.

Pedrinho had been excluded from the tactical plans of coach Amin Benhachem and did not participate in any matches with the team during the current season, which hastened his loan during the last transfer period.

The last winter period witnessed the departure of several players from Wydad's ranks, including Stephan Aziz Ki, Christopher Lorch, Tomisong Orobonyi, as well as Youssef El Moutii, Maad Onzou, and Walid Atiq.

On the other hand, the club reinforced its ranks with eight new players, namely Romero Vaca, Moses Biankawa, Salah El-Din Mosdaq, Nabil Khali, Ayman El Wafi, Naeem Biyaar, Hakim Ziyech, and Wissam Ben Yedder, as part of reorganizing the squad in preparation for the remainder of the season.
