The Saudi Arabian Football Federation is holding an important meeting with representatives from Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, and Al Ahli to discuss recent continental developments.

The newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that the meeting will be held at 3 PM on Monday via video call, in coordination with the Saudi Professional League.

This meeting is being held to discuss the implications of the Asian Football Confederation's decision to postpone several matches due to the current situation in the Middle East.

The postponement included the first-leg matches of the Round of 16 in the AFC Champions League for the elite, which involved Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli, and Al-Ittihad as part of the continental competition schedule.

The decision also extended to include the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League 2, including the match between Al-Nassr and Al-Wasl of the UAE in the same round.

The first leg of the Round of 16 was scheduled to take place between March 2 and 4, with the return matches set between March 9 and 11, before the postponement decision was issued.

Jeddah is expected to host the decisive stages of the AFC Champions League for the elite from April 16 to 25, amid anticipation for the results of the upcoming meeting.
