The crisis surrounding Moroccan defender Achraf Dari at Al Ahly is moving towards a resolution, as the club's management has reached an agreement to loan him out until the end of the current season, in a move that puts an end to the controversy that has arisen in recent days.

According to Egyptian media reports, an agreement has been reached with the Swedish club Kalmar to include the player on loan until the end of the current season. Sources indicated that Al Ahly's management has given final approval to complete the deal without any financial compensation, with an official announcement expected in the coming hours.

These developments came after a notable escalation, marked by the player's father threatening to resort to the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) in protest against the continued sidelining of the player and the refusal to let him leave earlier, despite him being excluded from the technical plans.

The agreement serves as a suitable solution for all parties, especially after Dari's name was removed from the team's roster during the winter transfer window of 2026, which closed last month.

The decision to exclude him from the list was made to make room for his compatriot Youssef Belamri, in addition to the recurring injuries that have affected his participation since he joined Al-Ahli in the summer of 2024.

Dari played 26 matches for Al-Ahly across various competitions without scoring or assisting any goals. His stint with the team temporarily ended as he moved to the Swedish league on loan, awaiting the outcome of the loan period.
