Wydad is preparing to host its counterpart, the Royal Army, next Wednesday evening at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, in a postponed match from the ninth round of the Moroccan Professional League. The match will kick off at midnight Mecca time.

The Royal Army team is expected to resume training starting today, Sunday, in preparation for the upcoming match, after the players were given a break following the match against Meknes Club in the fourteenth round.

The team had achieved a three-nil victory against the Meknassi Club in the match held at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, under the leadership of coach Alexandre Santos.

The Royal Army enters the match with high spirits following their recent victory, while Wydad seeks to leverage the home advantage and crowd support to secure the match points, in a game that holds significant importance in this season's league race.
