Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Zamalek star, sent a message of support and motivation to the White team players ahead of the anticipated match against Pyramids in the league.

Zamalek faces Pyramids this evening, Sunday, as part of the twentieth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Mido said on the "X" platform: "A message to the Zamalek players... You may not be the best team in the Egyptian league, but you have already proven to everyone this season that you are fighting warriors playing against logic!!"

He added: "Complete your image in front of your audience and fight for every ball from the first second to the last, and play without pressure!!"

He concluded: "Enjoy a match that is expected to be open with spaces, where great football players will be evident... Play a match for the history books!!"
