Upcoming Adjustment to the Schedule of the King’s Cup Semi-Final
Sunday 01-03-2026
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation is considering a new proposal to reschedule the semi-final matches of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup for the 2025-26 season.

According to local reports, the current plan is to hold the two matches on March 9 and 10, coinciding with the return leg dates of the AFC Champions League for the elite.

This step came after the Asian Football Confederation's decision to postpone the matches of the West Zone clubs in the first leg of the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League for the elite, which were scheduled for March 2 and 3.

The competition management had previously set March 18 as the date for the semi-final matches, with both games to be played simultaneously at 10 PM.

This round features a match between Al-Kholood and Al-Ittihad at Al-Hazm Club Stadium in Al-Rass, while Al-Inma Stadium at King Abdullah Sports City hosts the Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal classic.

The final decision remains contingent on the official approval of the revised schedule, as the organizing bodies strive to rearrange the calendar in accordance with continental developments.
