The board of directors of Al Ahly Club, led by Mahmoud El Khatib, expressed their gratitude to the Ministry of Interior and the relevant authorities following the release of a group of detained Al Ahly fans, prioritizing their future and considering their interests.

The security forces had arrested a number of Al Ahly fans following the incidents at the recent match against the Royal Army.

In an official statement, the council expressed its appreciation for this positive step by the security leadership and is confident that the coming days will see a reconsideration of the situation of their other colleagues within the framework of the rule of law.

The council renewed its mandate for the club's legal advisors to continue providing full legal support for the remaining detainees, in accordance with legal and constitutional frameworks, respecting state institutions, and maintaining constant coordination with their lawyers.
