The referees committee of the Spanish Football Federation announced the appointment of referee Isidro Diaz de Mera to officiate the Barcelona vs Villarreal match tomorrow at the Spotify Camp Nou as part of the La Liga competition, scheduled to take place at 5:15 PM Cairo time.

This will be Diaz de Mera's second appearance with Barcelona this season, after officiating the Spanish Super Cup semi-final in Saudi Arabia, which ended with a big win for Barcelona over Athletic Bilbao 5-0. However, it is his first time officiating a La Liga match this season.

He has previously officiated seven matches for Barcelona in the league, during which the team achieved five wins and suffered two losses, while he officiated a Copa del Rey match that ended with Barcelona defeating Barbastro 4-0.

As for Villarreal, this will be the referee's third appearance with the team this season, after two league matches and a Copa del Rey match, which ended with the team losing to Racing Santander 2-1. Historically, Diaz de Mera has officiated eleven matches for the Yellow Submarine, achieving eight wins, two draws, and only one loss.

Referee Melero Lopez will be responsible for the video technology, ensuring accurate refereeing and fair decisions during the important match between the two teams.
