Al-Ittihad missed out on a close win and settled for a 1-1 draw against Al-Hazm in the postponed match from the tenth round of the Saudi Professional League.

The match took place at Al-Hazm Club Stadium in Al-Rass, where Portuguese coach Sergio Conceicao started with a lineup that included Rajkovic, Ahmed Sharahili, Roger Fernandez, Fabinho, Mario Mitaj, Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, Awad Al-Nashri, Mahmadou Doumbia, Steven Bergwijn, Moussa Diaby, and George Elinokna.

The first half ended goalless, amid mutual caution and attempts that did not reach enough danger on the goals. In the 80th minute, Roger Fernandez broke the deadlock after receiving a cross from Mohannad Al-Shanqeeti on the edge of the area, striking a precise shot into the net, announcing Al-Ittihad's lead.

However, Al-Hazm quickly responded in the 84th minute through Abdulaziz Al-Duwaihi, who capitalized on a ground pass from Nawaf Al-Habashi inside the penalty area to bring the match back to square one. Al-Ittihad pressed in the final minutes searching for the winning goal, but the five minutes of injury time did not bring anything new.

With this result, Al-Ittihad raised its tally to 39 points in sixth place, while Al-Hazm reached 25 points in thirteenth place, keeping the competition intense in the standings.
