These concerns arose following the events that accompanied Al-Ahli's match against Damac Club in the Saudi Roshn League, which ended with Al-Raqi winning 1-0.

Tony's behavior in the final minutes of the match sparked widespread controversy after a clash with Damac player Jamal Harakas, which opened the door to the possibility of official disciplinary action.

In his appearance on the program "Nadyna," refereeing expert Fahd Al-Mirdasi confirmed the correctness of canceling Damac's goal in the 94th minute, but he pointed out that there were two deserved red cards for Tony and Ali Majrashi.

Al-Mirdasi called on the Disciplinary Committee to review some behaviors that do not reflect the professional image of the league, urging the imposition of appropriate penalties on the involved players.

For his part, referee and analyst Abdullah Al-Qahtani supported this view on the "Our League" program, considering that the incident warrants a direct red card according to Article 12, and it may be referred to the committee to consider a potential suspension.
