Tuesday 24-02-2026
Al-Ahli Saudi Club received approval from the Asian Football Confederation to delay the start of their match against Al-Duhail in the second leg of the AFC Champions League Round of 16 for the elite teams.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that the continental federation agreed to Al-Ahli's request to delay the match time, so it will be held at 11:30 PM instead of 9:30 PM. This change is to allow fans the opportunity to perform the Taraweeh prayers and then head to the Al-Inma Stadium at King Abdullah Sports City to support the team.

Al-Ahly qualified for the knockout stages after finishing as runners-up in the Western group behind Al-Hilal, with a total of 17 points, accumulated from five wins, two draws, and one loss.

The first leg is scheduled to take place at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium on March 2, while the return leg will be played at the "Jewel" Stadium on the 9th of the same month, in an anticipated clash to decide the qualification spot.
