Al-Ahli Saudi Club secured a valuable victory against Damac Club with a 1-0 win in the postponed match from the tenth round of the Saudi Roshn League.

The match was held at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Abha, where Al-Ahli entered the game with a starting lineup that included Edouard Mendy, Ali Majrashi, Rayan Hamid, Ibanez, Zakaria Hawsawi, Franck Kessié, Enzo Melot, Valentin Atangana, Riyad Mahrez, Galeno, and Ivan Toney.

The first few minutes witnessed early excitement when the referee disallowed a goal by Damac player Silla in the second minute due to offside, after consulting the video assistant referee.

Damac responded with a dangerous attempt by the Ivorian Mite in the 22nd minute, but his header went wide of the goal, before a goal by Ivan Toney was disallowed in the 29th minute for the same reason.

The decisive moment came in the 37th minute when Ivorian Franck Kessié capitalized on a precise cross inside the area, placing the ball in the net to announce Al Ahly's lead.

Riyad Mahrez almost extended the lead before the break, but he missed a clear opportunity in the 41st minute after a shot that, despite its danger, did not hit the target.

In the second half, Damak attempted a comeback, but the solidity of Al-Ahli's defense and the brilliance of Senegalese goalkeeper Edouard Mendy prevented any change in the score. Additionally, a goal by Lyako Meite was disallowed for offside in the 94th minute.

With this victory, Al-Ahli raised its tally to 56 points, temporarily leading the standings by one point ahead of Al-Nassr, while Damak's tally remained at 15 points in the sixteenth position.
