Raja Club Athletic returned to winning ways after defeating their guest, Ittihad Tanger, 2-0 on Sunday evening, as part of the thirteenth round of the professional league.

Defender Abdullah Khafifi opened the scoring with a header in the 23rd minute of the first half, giving his team an early advantage, before player Yahya Igiz sealed the result with a second goal in the seventh minute of injury time.

The match saw Ittihad Tangier's player, El Wedghiri, being sent off in the thirty-first minute, leaving the team to continue the game with ten players. This contributed to Raja's dominance over the course of play until the end of the match.

With this victory, Raja Club Athletic's tally rose to 23 points, putting them on par with Maghreb de Fès, Wydad Athletic Club, and Club Moghreb de Meknès at the top of the professional league standings.
