Raja Sports Club Renews Confidence in Fadlu Davids and Denies Dismissal Rumors
Sunday 22-02-2026
Raja Club Athletic categorically denied the rumors about the possible dismissal of its South African coach, Fadlu Davids, affirming its commitment to technical stability and continuing with the current sports project.

The club's clarification came after news circulated in some media outlets suggesting a potential change at the technical staff level. However, the management settled the matter by closing the door on any separation scenarios, adopting an internal discourse focused on unity and continuity to restore sporting balance.

Some sources had linked Raja's name with a number of coaches, including Hussein Ammouta, Youssef Safri, Abdel Latif Jrindou, and Redouane El Haimer. However, a source close to the club denied these claims entirely, emphasizing that the management "never considered dismissing the coach" and that Davids enjoys full confidence.

The Raja management believes that the current sports project requires time and stability, especially after the extensive changes the team underwent this season by signing 16 new players during the summer and winter transfer windows, making cohesion a crucial factor at this stage.

In a positive sign, the ultras factions held a meeting with the players, during which they expressed their support for the group and called for rallying around the technical staff, reflecting the fans' desire to create a calm atmosphere that helps the team focus.

Raja occupies the fourth position with 20 points after 11 rounds, trailing by only three points behind the leaders, Maghreb Fes and Club Meknassi, which keeps its chances strong in the race for the title.

The message from inside the green castle is clear: there is no room for confusion, the project continues, and the ambition remains steady... and the field alone will be the decider.
