The management of Al-Ahli Saudi Club is accelerating its steps to secure the permanent stay of Zakaria Hawsawi, following a direct recommendation from the German coach Matthias Jaissle after the performances the player delivered this season.

The sports newspaper revealed that the club's company intends to open communication channels with the Saudi club Al-Raed in the next two days to activate the clause for purchasing the loaned left-back's contract.

Al-Ahli management is striving to quickly resolve the matter, given the complete technical conviction of the importance of Zakaria Hawsawi's continued presence within the team's sports project for the upcoming seasons.

Yaesleh's recommendation came after the impressive performance shown by the player in the matches he participated in, as he provided the left flank with additional strength both defensively and offensively.

Hawsawi had moved to Al-Ahli on loan until the end of the current season for 12 million riyals, according to the same newspaper.

The player joined Al-Raed in the summer of 2024, coming from Al-Ittihad on a three-year contract, before playing 20 matches with Al-Ahli this season, during which he scored one goal and provided two assists.
