Zamalek Defeats Haras El Hodoud 2-0 in Egyptian League
Zamalek coach Moatamed Gamal spoke about his team's victory over Haras El Hodoud in the Premier League.
Zamalek secured a 2-0 victory over Haras El Hodood yesterday, Friday, in the 18th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
In the press conference following the match, Moatamed Gamal said: "The match was very difficult for us, and it was certainly difficult for the Haras El Hodoud team as well, as they played under great pressure, which posed a clear challenge for us."
He continued: "We had definite opportunities, as did the Haras El Hodood team, especially in the first half."
He continued: "We had some observations on positioning in the first half, but we corrected the situation in the second half, and the trio of Abdullah, Fattouh, and Mohamed El-Sayed performed well."
He continued: "We have tough matches ahead in the coming period, and we aim to prepare well for them. We set out broad outlines before each match, and Fattouh's presence in the midfield was not a spontaneous decision. I spoke with him before the match about his participation in this position, and his play on the right side was intentional due to his ability to get into a better position to score."
He added, "Chico Banza sustained an injury to his hamstring and will rest from training tomorrow. After that, we will assess his condition and the possibility of his participation again."
