Zamalek Objects to Appointing Al-Qalawi to Manage Haras El Hodood Match
Zamalek Club announced its submission of a complaint to the Egyptian Football Association, objecting to the appointment of referee Hamada Al-Qalawi to manage the Haras El Hodood match in the league.
Zamalek faces its counterpart Haras El Hodood today, Friday, at 9:30 PM Cairo time, in the 18th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Zamalek announced through its media center the submission of an official complaint to the Football Association, expressing its reservation about the appointment of referee Hamada Al-Qalawi to manage the match.
The statement clarified that Zamalek's reservation was due to Al-Qalawi committing refereeing errors in the team's match against Haras last season, and therefore it was not appropriate to assign today's match to the same referee.
