The Union Recovers Its Players Before the Clash with Al-Hilal
Thursday 19-02-2026
The team breathed a sigh of relief before the Clasico match, having regained key players in their recent training sessions under the leadership of Portuguese coach Sergio Conceicao.

The Union will visit Al Hilal next Saturday evening as part of the 23rd round of the Saudi Roshn League, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

Thursday's training session saw the participation of defender Hassan Kadesh and French winger Moussa Diaby, after their recovery from injury, in a move that boosted the team's readiness for the upcoming match.

Kadish suffered a minor bruise during the match against Al Sadd in the AFC Champions League for the elite, raising doubts about his ability to participate in the Clasico.

On the other hand, Diaby missed the same match due to a left hip injury, but the medical team later confirmed his recovery and return to group participation.

Al Hilal tops the standings with 53 points, while Al Ittihad holds the seventh position with 37 points from 21 matches, which gives the match added significance in the competition race.
