The first football team of Al-Ittihad Club in Jeddah is preparing to face its traditional rival Al-Hilal in the twenty-third round of the Saudi Professional League, under the leadership of their Portuguese coach Sergio Conceicao, by conducting two training sessions at the club's stadium in preparation for the match.

Conceição gave his players a day off following the significant 4-1 victory over Qatar's Al Sadd in the last round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League for the elite. Meanwhile, the non-regular players continued with additional training to improve their physical and technical readiness.

The team is scheduled to resume its group training on Thursday, with preparations concluding with a final training session on Friday, before the team departs for Riyadh. This is in preparation for facing Al-Hilal at the Kingdom Arena on Saturday at 10:00 PM Mecca time.

Meanwhile, the quintet of Saleh Al-Shehri, Ahmed Al-Julaidan, Moussa Diaby, Saad Al-Mousa, and Faisal Al-Ghamdi continued their rehabilitation programs in the gym and the main field in preparation for future participation.
