Jesus chose to rely on Nawaf Al-Aqidi in Al-Nassr's starting lineup, bringing him back to guard the goal after his absence from recent matches, as part of the coach's plan to secure the team's defense.

The Al-Nassr coach also decided to start Spanish defender Iñigo Martínez to compensate for his absence in the match against Al-Hazm in the 23rd round of the Saudi League due to the accumulation of yellow cards.

Al-Nassr hosts Arkadag at their home stadium, after the team secured a 1-0 victory in the first leg with a goal scored by Abdullah Al-Hamdan, giving them a psychological advantage before the return match.

Jesus called up all of Al-Nassr's foreign players for the match squad, except for the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, who was not included in the lineup to consider his physical condition and manage his workload.
