Portuguese coach Sérgio Conceição of Al-Ittihad spoke about his stance on the rotation policy ahead of the match against Al-Sadd in the AFC Champions League for the elite.

Al-Ittihad will visit Al-Sadd on Tuesday as part of the eighth and final round of the league stage in the AFC Champions League for the elite, at the Hamad bin Jassim Stadium in Doha.

During the press conference, Conceição emphasized that the team does not differentiate between a starting player and a substitute, stressing that the group works as a single unit and that the participation of any member depends on the needs of each match.

He explained that the pressure of matches and the limited time did not provide the coaching staff with an ideal opportunity for preparation, but the preparations were conducted in the best possible way despite the challenges.

Regarding the absences, the coach expressed his full confidence in the available players, affirming that those present are capable of compensating for any shortages, and that the ambition remains focused on achieving victory.

He also emphasized the need to find technical solutions when facing a team of Al Sadd's caliber, especially given the physical fatigue resulting from consecutive matches.

Conceição touched on facing the Italian Roberto Mancini, emphasizing the deep relationship they have shared since their years of playing together, and praising the capabilities of Al Sadd and its players, foremost among them Akram Afif.
