Saudi Pro League Clubs Monitor Dortmund Player for Summer Signing
The Guinean striker Serhou Guirassy of Borussia Dortmund has caught the attention of clubs in the Saudi Pro League, in preparation for a potential transfer during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Reports have indicated that one of the Saudi clubs is preparing an offer for a three-season contract, with an annual salary of up to 20 million euros, in an attempt to persuade the player to embark on a new experience outside of Germany.
Tutto Mercato reported that the 29-year-old striker is carefully considering his options, especially with the growing interest in his services since last summer.
Bild newspaper indicated that Guirassy has prioritized a move to Saudi Arabia, in coordination with his brother who manages his affairs, following communication with several Gulf clubs.
The player is under contract with Dortmund until 2028, which includes a release clause of 50 million euros, giving any club the opportunity to finalize the deal if the clause is activated.
Guerreiro has previously expressed openness to the idea of playing in the Saudi league, while also affirming his current contentment at Dortmund and his desire to continue competing for titles.
It is noted that the German club signed him in the summer of 2024 from Stuttgart for 18 million euros, while his current market value is estimated at around 40 million euros following his remarkable performance.
