Zamalek Decides Fate of Adi Al-Dabbagh and Rejects Idea of His Departure
Monday 16-02-2026
Zamalek club officials have resolved their stance on the departure of the Palestinian player, Oday Dabbagh, the first team striker, in the upcoming period. This follows rumors of him receiving an offer from a Qatari club for his transfer.

The Zamalek management confirmed that no official offers have been received for Adi Dabbagh, emphasizing that the rumors in this regard are merely media speculations, especially after his previous departure to a Kuwaiti club was rejected during the last winter transfer window due to registration conditions.

Reports indicated that the club's management has not recently opened the file on selling the Palestinian striker, as the player and the coaching staff are focused on the remaining competitions of the current season and the need for his efforts within the team.

Zamalek had previously rejected a Kuwaiti offer to sign Al-Dabbagh due to the low financial compensation, unlike the deals for Nabil Emad "Dunga" and Nasser Maher, where there were technical alternatives available in their positions. However, the management believes that the team cannot afford to lose its striker at this stage.
