Konya: I Don't Care About the Fan's Haircut... I Want to Win the 15 Points
Monday 16-02-2026
Brazilian international Matheus Cunha, a Manchester United player, commented on the controversy surrounding a fan's haircut, which is linked to the team achieving five consecutive victories. He emphasized that his focus is entirely on the results on the field, not on side issues.

Kunya said in a press statement: "People have become more interested in getting 5 wins because of the haircut than they are in earning 15 points. For me, the most important thing is the 15 points; I don't care at all about the haircut issue."

He added, "We sometimes talk about it in the locker room, but it doesn't give us extra motivation, and we don't see it as something special."

He concluded: "No one wants to achieve these victories more than we do; in fact, we always aspire for more. But I think the pressure associated with the hairstyle story somewhat obscures the beauty that this season can bring us. Do you understand what I mean?"

It is worth noting that Manchester United has not achieved 5 consecutive wins in 723 days, specifically since February 2024.
