The Egyptian Federation Hosts the Quarter-Final Draw for the African Champions League and Confederation Cup
The Egyptian Football Association is hosting the quarter-final draw ceremony for the 2025-26 season of the African Champions League and the African Confederation Cup, in collaboration with the African Football Confederation, in a highly anticipated event that will determine the outlines of the decisive stage of the two continental championships.
The draw ceremony is scheduled to take place at the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Association at the National Teams Center in the city of Sixth of October, next Tuesday, at 1:00 PM, in the presence of representatives of the qualifying clubs and CAF officials.
The two tournaments witnessed the qualification of four Egyptian clubs to the quarter-finals, following strong performances in the group stage, namely Al Ahly, Pyramids, Zamalek, and Al Masry Al Port Said.
Al Ahly and Pyramids secured their spots in the quarter-finals of the African Champions League, while Zamalek and Al Masry Al Port Said advanced to the same stage in the Confederation Cup, with the Egyptian sports community eagerly anticipating strong matchups in the knockout rounds.
The teams that qualified for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League are as follows: "Al Ahly, Pyramids, Royal Army, Esperance Tunis, Renaissance Berkane, Al Hilal, Sundowns, Mali Stadium".
The teams that qualified for the quarter-finals of the African Confederation Cup are: "Zamalek, Al Masry, USM Alger, Olympic Safi, Wydad Athletic, Maniema, CR Belouizdad, Otoho".
