According to the Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo', Barcelona enters the match with two players threatened with suspension, as both Frenkie de Jong and Gerard Martin have received four yellow cards in the competition so far. If either of them receives a new card against Girona, they will miss the next match against Levante.

De Jong is expected to start the match in the starting lineup, while Gerard Martin's role has diminished in recent matches, likely starting from the bench. At the same time, coach Hans Flick will not be able to rely on several players due to injury, complicating his tactical calculations for the anticipated confrontation.

The newspaper also noted that Kounde has three yellow cards in the league and will also be threatened with suspension if he receives a warning against Girona. So far, Barcelona has not lost any player due to suspension resulting from the accumulation of yellow cards in the league this season, although De Jong was sent off during the competitions.
