Jesus Refrains from Including Haider Abdulkarim with Under-21 Due to Injury

The Portuguese Jorge Jesus, the head coach of Al-Nassr team, reconsidered the idea of having the Iraqi player Haider Abdul Karim participate with the under-21 team in the match against Al-Jabalain, as part of the 15th round of the Joy League.

Jesus had allowed five players—Haider Abdulkarim, Abdulmalik Al-Jaber, Saad Haqwi, Rakan Al-Ghamdi, and Awad Aman—to travel to Hail to support the under-21 team against Al-Jabalain, before he requested to rest the Iraqi player.

According to sports critic Abdulaziz Al-Asimi on his account on the "X" platform, the decision for exemption came due to Haider feeling some pain, prompting the coaching staff to avoid risking him.

Jesus had fielded Haider Abdulkarim as a starter against Arkadag of Turkmenistan in the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League 2, which ended with Al-Nassr winning 1-0, as part of the team's efforts to successfully continue their continental journey.
