Renaissance Berkane Qualifies for the Quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League

The Renaissance Berkane team officially secured its qualification to the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League after defeating Rivers United with a score of three goals to none in the match held today, Saturday, as part of the final round of the group stage.

On the municipal stadium field in the city of Berkane, the "orange" team dominated most of the match, with a clear determination to secure the qualification ticket.

Youssef Mehri opened the scoring in the 38th minute after capitalizing on a precise pass inside the penalty area and placing the ball into the net, giving his team a deserved advantage before the end of the first half.

In the second half, Senegalese player Paul Bassin shone by scoring the second and third goals, confirming the superiority of the Moroccan football representative and securing a comfortable 3-0 victory.

In the second match of the same group, Egypt's Pyramids triumphed over Power Dynamos with a score of (3-1) in the game held at the 30 June Stadium.

With these results, Pyramids topped the group standings with 16 points, while Renaissance Berkane came second with 10 points, securing both teams' spots in the quarter-finals.
