The first football team of Al Ahly Club conducted their final training session this Saturday evening at the Tetch Stadium on the island, in preparation for facing Morocco's Royal Army in the concluding match of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

The Danish coach, Jess Thorup, held a video technical lecture with the players before the start of the training session to explain some tactical aspects and specific instructions for the upcoming match, as part of the optimal preparation for the encounter.

The training session included various physical and technical drills before the coaching staff concluded with a strong scrimmage involving all the players. Meanwhile, the four goalkeepers, Mohamed El-Shenawy, Mostafa Shobeir, Hamza Alaa, and Mohamed Siha, performed individual physical and technical exercises before joining the scrimmage.

Al Ahly will host their counterpart, the Royal Army, at 6 PM tomorrow, Sunday, at the Cairo International Stadium, having secured qualification to the quarter-finals as the leader of Group B with 9 points. The team aims to confirm their top position and finish the stage in the best possible manner.
