Al-Ittihad Snatches Victory from Al-Fayha with a Last-Minute Goal, Disrupting League Standings

Al-Ittihad team snatched a valuable victory against Al-Fayha with a score of 2-1 in the match that brought them together on Friday evening as part of the twenty-second round of the Saudi Professional League.

The Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah hosted the match, which saw strong competition between the two teams, as each side sought to strengthen its position in the Saudi League standings.

The team entered the match with a lineup that included Predrag Rajković, Hassan Kadesh, Ahmed Sharahili, Danilo Pereira, Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti, Fabinho, Mahamadou Doumbia, Houssem Aouar, Roger Fernandes, Youssef En-Nesyri, and Abdulaziz Al-Bishi.

Abdulaziz Al-Bishi nearly opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a long-range shot, but his ball went over Al-Fayha's goal without posing any real threat.

The Moroccan Youssef En-Nesyri succeeded in giving the "Tigers" the lead in the 35th minute, after he converted a corner kick executed by Mahamadou Doumbia with a precise header into the net.

Zambian Fashion Sakala equalized for Al-Fayha in the 55th minute with a powerful header, before Hassan Kadesh secured the win for Al-Ittihad with a second goal in the 83rd minute with a shot from inside the area.

With this result, Al-Ittihad raised its tally to 37 points, placing it in sixth position, while Al-Fayha's tally remained at 23 points, placing it in twelfth position in the Saudi Roshan League standings.
