Algerian Riyad Mahrez continued his impressive performance in the Al-Ahli jersey, scoring a goal and assisting another in the big 5-2 victory over Al-Shabab, as part of the 22nd round of the Saudi Professional League. The match took place at the "SHG Arena" in Riyadh.

With this performance, Mahrez reached his 50th goal contribution for Al-Ahly in the league, across 80 matches, having scored 22 goals and provided 28 assists, affirming his value as one of the team's key attacking players.

Mahrez joined Al-Ahli in the summer of 2023, coming from Manchester City, and successfully contributed to winning the AFC Champions League for the elite and the Saudi Super Cup 2025 with the team.
