The newspaper "Youm7" reported that Al-Ahly star Imam Ashour is seeking to resolve his recent issue with the club by requesting mediation from Walid Salah El-Din, the football director, and Adel Mostafa, the team coach, to arrange a special meeting today with the Danish coach Jes Thorup.

Ashour aims in this session to offer a formal apology to the coach, affirming his desire to open a new chapter with the Red Castle, especially after fully complying with the penalty imposed on him.

Tourop had expressed his intense anger over Imam Ashour's recent actions and his absence from the red team at a critical time, as Al Ahly is going through a decisive phase in the battle for the CAF Champions League and the Egyptian League titles.

The newspaper confirmed that Ashour will participate in Al Ahly's training today, Friday, after the club's imposed sanction on him has ended.

Al Ahly is currently preparing to face Morocco's Royal Army next Sunday in the sixth and final round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
