Nunez went ahead and deleted his picture in the Al Hilal jersey from his official Instagram account, replacing it with an old photo of him in a Liverpool jersey celebrating a title, which many interpreted as an expression of his anger.

Al Hilal signed the 26-year-old Uruguayan striker during the last summer transfer window, coming from Liverpool, based on coach Inzaghi's belief in his technical abilities.

Nunez played 23 matches for Al-Hilal in various competitions this season, during which he managed to score 7 goals and provided 5 assists, with a total of 1,577 minutes of play.

Al-Hilal is preparing to host Al-Ettifaq this Friday evening at 6:25 PM, as part of the 22nd round of the Saudi Roshn League, in an anticipated match between the two teams.

Al Hilal enters the match leading the Roshan League standings with 50 points, one point ahead of Al Nassr in second place, while Al Ittifaq is in sixth place with 35 points.
