The newspaper "Youm7" reported that Al Ahly's coach, Jesper Torup, is aiming to start Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane in the match against the Royal Army in the African Champions League.
Al Ahly will face their counterpart, the Royal Army, next Sunday in the sixth and final round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
The newspaper explained that Torop's decision was made to give the player confidence to overcome his technical crisis, especially after signs of regaining his form against Ismaily. By keeping him on the field, the coach aims to psychologically prepare the player and relieve pressure from him, considering his goal against the Dervishes as the true starting point for regaining his self-confidence.
