Koulibaly Officially Renews Contract with Al Hilal Until 2027
Thursday 12-02-2026
On Thursday evening, Al-Hilal Saudi Club announced the renewal of its Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly's contract for an additional season, allowing him to continue wearing the leader's jersey and enhancing the team's defensive stability.

The management of Al-Hilal succeeded in finalizing the extension early to retain one of the pillars of the defensive line in the formation of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, after he delivered strong performances since joining two and a half years ago.

The official Al Hilal account on the "X" platform confirmed the news by posting a special video, through which it revealed the continuation of Koulibaly and the extension of the contractual relationship between the two parties.

The contract of the 34-year-old Senegalese defender extends until the summer of 2027, after he joined Al-Hilal in the summer of 2023 from Italian club Napoli on a three-season deal.

Koulibaly played 111 matches for Al Hilal, during which he scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists, according to statistics from the "Transfermarkt" website.

The Senegalese defender was crowned with Al Hilal with the Saudi Super Cup title twice, in addition to winning the Roshan League and the King's Cup once, making him the fourth foreign player to extend his contract after Bono, Savic, and Ruben Neves.
