The Saudi Professional League has resolved the controversy surrounding the absence of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo from Al-Nassr's recent matches, clarifying the truth about the rumors of a meeting with him to understand the reasons for his absence.

Omar Batarji, Director of Corporate Communication and Media at the Roshan League, clarified that the issue of Ronaldo's absence falls within the direct relationship between the player and his club, emphasizing that the league does not speak on behalf of the clubs.

In a television statement, Batargy pointed out that having a player of Cristiano Ronaldo's caliber has been a significant addition to the league and has clearly contributed to supporting the competition's project and enhancing its global value.

He affirmed that Ronaldo's artistic and marketing value cannot be denied, but he also emphasized that any details regarding his participation or absence remain an internal matter concerning Al-Nassr club alone.

Ronaldo, aged 41, missed Al-Nassr's matches against Al-Riyadh and Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League competitions.
