Liverpool achieved a valuable victory over Sunderland with a goal to nil, in the 26th round of the Premier League, in the match held at the Stadium of Light.

The match saw Liverpool's superiority in terms of control and possession of the ball and creating chances, but they lacked the final touch amidst defensive brilliance from Sunderland and their goalkeeper.

The only goal of the match came in the 62nd minute after a cross from a corner executed by Mohamed Salah, which Virgil van Dijk rose to head, and a Sunderland defender attempted to clear it with his head, but the ball ended up in the net.
