Jesus Relies on Bento and Excludes Al-Aqidi Until the End of the Season
The Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, of the Saudi club Al-Nassr, has decided to exclude goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi from his plans until the end of the season due to the numerous technical errors he made in recent matches.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Youm" indicated that Jesus will rely primarily on the Brazilian goalkeeper Bento Matheus in the upcoming matches.
This came after Al-Aqeedi was excluded from the match against Arkadag yesterday, as part of the first leg of the AFC Champions League Round of 16.
Al-Nassr succeeded in securing a victory over Arkadag with a clean goal scored by Abdullah Al-Hamdan, while Bento Matheus delivered a consistent performance and maintained a clean sheet in the match.
