Zamalek Club has rejected an official offer from one of the UAE league clubs to sign the Angolan professional Chico Banza during the current winter transfer window.

According to what was reported by "On Sport FM" radio, the Emirati club has submitted a request to sign the player in the current transfer window, as part of its interest in strengthening its lineup with new attacking elements.

Although Zamalek officials initially welcomed the idea of Chico Banza's departure, they set a condition of $1.5 million as a prerequisite for agreeing to complete the deal. The Emirati club considered this amount excessive, leading to the closure of negotiations without reaching an agreement.

In the same context, the source indicated that there is currently a Libyan offer on the table for Zamalek's management to sign the player. Discussions are still ongoing between the two parties to finalize the financial details and reach a final agreement.
